Business to business (B2B) social media is rising. When a company uses social media to attract consumers then they two have created a social media presence. Therefore an opportunity exists for B2B companies to target this presence.

  • 86% of B2B firms are using social media, however only 32% engage on a daily basis.
  • 46% perceive social media as irrelevant while 60% of B2B firms have no staff dedicated to social media.

Although B2B firms do not look at social media the way a B2C does, times are changing. Understand what you are using social media for and develop a social media marketing strategy. When you are posting remember who you are targeting as it is not your personal page.

If you have ever played Jenga then you know how careful you need to be when pulling out blocks. Well just imagine having to do this with using heavy machinery such as a crane built by Caterpillar! Most of us would fail miserably trying to move and pickup the blocks without knocking the entire stack over but the people at Caterpillar wanted to show how much control they have over their machines.

IKEA’s latest campaign is aimed to bring colour to grey Belgium with the help of special optical illusion billboards.

Thanks to the illusion the billboards looks like a solid coloured sign with the IKEA logo along with the tagline “Choose colour”. Get closer and viewers magically see a product from their spring collection.

This is a great way to set the mood for your target audience and inject some colour love into their lives.
